Handcrafted Artisan Turquoise Horse Nepalese Pendant Necklace designed by Tamara. One of the more unusual pendants we picked up this year in Tucson for the gem show. I think I liked it because of it’s crossover appeal. It can be described as ethnic/tribal or swing to ranch style. I went with the ranch. The overall design is asymmetrical. Turquoise gemstone chips and paired with some wonderful Bali silver focal beads and some carved jade beads. The Nepalese pendant has a bone carving of a folk style horse. Repousse work on the front and back of the pendant make this truly stunning. This is definitely a “statement” piece! The Sterling Silver chain is handforged ovals with wire wrapped Bali silver beads. Sterling Silver toggle closure. Pendant measures 3 1/4″ x 1 1/2″ Necklace length is 20″ Have fun and enjoy wearing this!

Occasionally, you may want to clean or brighten up your jewelry. Sterling Silver does tarnish, however, it can be easily cleaned and polished to look as good as new. That is the difference between plated and Sterling. Sterling Silver does not chip or rub off. When you polish or clean it, it does come back good as new. Although, some people prefer the “antiqued” look that Sterling Silver can get.
If your piece has gemstones mixed with your Silver we recommend using a product called “Jewel Brite” which is 100% biodegradable, gentle enough for pearls and cleans beautifully.
Also, a polishing cloth can do simple polishing.
